Power supplies
Power supplies are the energy core of electronic test and development benches. They provide stable voltages and currents, with a ripple of less than 2 mV rms and typical regulation of ± 0.01 %. This performance guarantees the reliability of measurements and the safety of powered devices. In R&D, they simulate dynamic profiles - ramps, steps, overvoltages, dips - to check circuit resistance and the robustness of local power supplies. In production, they ensure the repeatability of functional tests and compliance with power supply margins. In maintenance, they enable controlled reproduction of faults for diagnosis. Programmable models incorporate OVP, OCP and OTP protection, as well as LAN, USB or SCPI communication for automation and traceability. Multi-output power supplies make it easy to stress several modules simultaneously. Used in aerospace, energy, automotive, research and medical equipment, they comply with IEC 61010 and ISO 17025 standards.
Precision, stability and safety: the power supply is the energy reference for any test chain.

concrete questions about Food
01
What is the difference between a linear power supply and a switching power supply?Linear power supplies are more stable and quieter (less switching noise), ideal for sensitive applications. Switching power supplies are more compact and more efficient, but generate more electronic noise.
02
How do you choose the power of a power supply? The rated power (Watt) must cover the maximum voltage and current required for the application, taking into account any peaks. It is recommended to keep a safety margin of at least 20 % in relation to the expected load.
03
Why are we talking about multi-channel power supplies?A multi-channel power supply enables several independent circuits to be supplied with different voltages or currents. This is useful on a development bench or for testing several components simultaneously.
04
Is a reconditioned power supply suitable for use in production?Yes, if it has been metrologically checked and complies with the specified output tolerances. A quality reconditioned power supply may be perfectly suitable for repetitive testing or integration in an industrial environment.
05
What are the key criteria for comparing two power supplies? In addition to power, you need to look at control accuracy, stability, response time, output noise, built-in protection (OVP, OCP) and communication interfaces (USB, LAN, GPIB).
