Video measurement instruments are used to analyse, verify and calibrate analogue or digital video signals in accordance with NTSC, PAL, SECAM, SDI, HDMI or DisplayPort standards. In R&D, they are used to validate display interfaces and characterise latency, synchronisation and jitter in video streams. In production, they guarantee equipment compliance with SMPTE, ITU-R and IEC 60107 standards. Video analysers measure the essential parameters: luminance level, chrominance, colour balance, frame integrity and clock template.
